Uncertainty As Police Arrest Nigerian Billionaire, Blord
Crypto Billionaire businessman Linus Williams, popularly known as BLord, has been arrested by the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Abuja, following petitions filed by VeryDarkMan.
According to GistReel, Blord’s arrest comes after Blord criticized VeryDarkMan and blamed his father for his constant rants on social media.
Blord added that VeryDarkMan’s financial struggles have turned him into an online nuisance and prayed that his followers would become successful for the sake of their children.
In response, the controversial activist claimed he was responsible for Blord’s arrest and had asked the billionaire to improve his services due to complaints about people losing money on his platform.
Captioning his video, he wrote: “BLORD HAS BEEN DETAINED BY FCID IN ABUJA….lets see his influence now✌️who get influence no dey shout @npf_nccc I have more people to bring ooooo.”
In another account, @TrendingEX in a post on X explained that some months back, some users of Blord’s payment app alleged issues with the usage of the app.
“Verydarkman made attempts to intervene, called Blord out and asked him to fix the issues with his app.
“Blord told Mr Jollof to announce that the reason users’ funds have been withheld was because BillPoint was short on staff.”
According to TrendingEx, VDM said it was a lie and insisted that Blord should hire more staff and address the fund issues through the app and not through Mr Jellof.
TrendingEx maintained that the inability for Blord to resolve the issues with his app is what led VDM to petition and arrest him.
GWG.bg reports that at the time of filling this report, Blord was leading among trending topics on X, following his arrest.
