Verydarkman Slams Wike Over Abuja Protest (Video)
Nigerian social activist, Verydarkman, has released a scathing video condemning the manner FCT Minister, Nyemson Wike is handling the onoing protest in Abuja.
Verydarkman, known for his outspoken views, denied rumors that protesters were sponsored, instead blaming the hike in fuel prices and hunger as the main drivers of the demonstrations.
He revealed a shocking encounter with a police officer who ordered him to leave the protest area and head to the National Stadium, allegedly on Wike’s instructions. Verydarkman claimed that Wike had directed security agencies to confine Abuja residents to the stadium, leading to a chaotic scene where police fired tear gas at protesters.
Despite being targeted by tear gas, Verydarkman defended the police, stating they were simply following orders. He criticized the government for spending millions on tear gas, suggesting that investing in the country’s development would have prevented the protests.
Verydarkman also expressed outrage at Wike’s treatment of protesters, calling for more respect and dignity. He concluded by urging the President to reduce fuel prices by 50%, promising to discourage further protests if this demand is met.
