Family Announces Burial Plans Of Business Mogul, Aniekwe’s Wife
The family of Chief Bestman Aniekwe, chairman of NIPCO PLC has announced plans for the burial of its matriarch, Lady Beatrice Ifeoma Aniekwe.
Lady Beatrice Aniekwe, who died on Thursday, April 25, 2024, according to the family, is survived by her husband, sons, and daughters.
She also left behind grandchildren, siblings, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
The family, in a statement signed by Chike Aniekwe, stated that a vigil mass at the deceased’s Abakaliki residence in Edda Close, Azuiyiokwu, Abakaliki was scheduled for Monday, August 19, 2024
The family further noted that on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, there would be a brief stopover at the Knights of St. Mulumba Hall in St. Theresa Parish which would be followed by a funeral mass at St. Mulumba Catholic Church, Abakaliki, at 9 am.
“Thereafter, a vigil mass will take place at her country home, Chief Bestman Paul Aniekwe’s compound, Umuabu Village, Adazi Enu, Anaocha Local Government Area, Anambra State, on August 22, 2024, at 5 pm.
“On August 23, 2024, a funeral mass will be held at St. Dominic Catholic Church, Adazi Enu, Anaocha LGA, Anambra State, at 10 am, followed by her interment at Chief Bestman Anekwe’s compound in Adazi-Enu,” the statement read.
GWG.ng reports that Adazi-Enu community, in a statement in a Facebook post on Tuesday, equally debunked rumours making the rounds that the Anambra billionaire, Bestman Aniekwe, was dead.
The statement firmly maintained that the NIPCO boss is very much alive and healthy.
