Suspense On The Plateau As Governor Suspends Key Officials

Suspense has set in after Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, on Tuesday, suspended four of his key officials to include: two commissioners and two aides.

This development was disclosed by the governor’s Director of Press and Public Affairs, Gyang Bere, in a statement on Tuesday.

GWG.ng notes that Bere’s statement did not include what the officials’ did to attract the suspension. However, he stated that the suspension was with immediate effect.

The statement read, “The Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has approved the immediate suspension of four key officials.

“The affected officials include Hon. Chrysanthus Dawam, Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, and Hon. Jamila Tukur, Commissioner for Tourism, Culture, and Hospitality.

“Also affected are Hon. Dio Lamul, Special Adviser on Rural Development, and Hon. Moses Sule, Liaison Officer for Mikang Constituency.

“The suspensions take effect immediately.”
