The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the death of Isaiah Edegbo, a Deputy Director in the party’s Organization Department at the National Secretariat. He passed away on Monday, October 28, in Abuja at the age of 48.

In an official statement on Tuesday, the APC’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, confirmed the loss, describing Edegbo as a dedicated staff member whose contributions to the party will be deeply missed.

According to Morka, Edegbo hailed from Kogi State and had an impressive academic background. He attended Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where he obtained a Diploma in Civil Law in 1997, an LL.B (Hons) in 2003, and an LL.M in Public Law in 2016. At the time of his passing, he was actively pursuing a Ph.D. in Commercial Law.

Despite being a trained lawyer, Edegbo was renowned within the APC for his intelligence, diligence, and reliability, significantly contributing to the party’s successful congresses, conventions, and election activities over the years.

Morka expressed the party’s condolences, stating that Edegbo’s death leaves a substantial void within the APC’s organizational team. He will be remembered for his invaluable service and dedication to the party.
