Veteran actress Rita Edochie has expressed strong disapproval over a recent incident involving controversial figures Prophet Odumeje and Judy Austin, the second wife of actor Yul Edochie.

Rita Edochie, a vocal supporter of Yul’s estranged first wife, May Edochie, took to Instagram to condemn Prophet Odumeje for what she described as a disrespectful act. The actress criticized the prophet for allowing Judy Austin to step onto the sacred altar during a recent service.

In her statement, Rita Edochie labeled Odumeje’s act as “shameful” and “sacrilegious,” questioning the prophet’s judgment in permitting Judy Austin’s presence in such a revered space. She described the altar as a place meant for truth, holiness, and purity—not a platform for individuals she referred to as “wicked souls” or “adulterous beings.”
