Former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello has been released from the Kuje Correctional Centre after fulfilling the bail conditions set by the Federal High Court in Abuja.
The court had granted Bello bail on the condition of providing a ₦500 million bond among other requirements.
Duza stated, “Yahaya Bello has been released after meeting the bail conditions. He was released this evening (Friday).” He also noted that the FCT Controller of Correctional Services, Ajibogun Olatubosun, was present to oversee the release and ensure all procedures were properly followed.
