Yinka Quadri Speaks On His Death Rumours

Nollywood actor Yinka Quadri has shared how false rumors of his death affected his family.

In June, reports of his alleged death went viral, causing panic among his fans and loved ones.

Responding to the rumors of his death on Instagram, Yinka Quadri reassured everyone that he was “alive and well.”

In an interview with Oyinmomo TV, Quadri expressed frustration over the situation. He criticized those behind the false news, calling their actions harmful and unnecessary.

“When I saw the news, I said, ‘Well done, you content creators.’ No one would feel happy about people spreading death rumors about them,” he stated. “But I leave the person behind this to God’s judgment. If they think causing sadness in families is a way to succeed, let God handle it.”

The actor, who is 65 years old, revealed that the rumors caused significant stress for his family, especially his children living abroad.

“My children are overseas, and we talk every three days. When they heard the news, they said, ‘I just spoke to Daddy last week.’ But eventually, everyone became worried. They started calling in the morning, afternoon, and night just to check if I was okay,” Quadri explained.

Yinka Quadri emphasized how such rumors can create unnecessary anxiety for families and called for more responsibility in creating and sharing information especially concerning life and death situations.
