Nollywood’s Frederick Leonard Slams New Rumors On His Marriage

Nollywood actor Frederick Leonard has addressed rumors about problems in his marriage with Peggy Ovire.

These speculations began after Peggy shared Christmas-themed photos without Frederick’s presence, leading some to question the state of their relationship.

In response to these rumors, Frederick posted a lengthy statement on Instagram, firmly dismissing the claims. He declared, “Leave me and my wife’s name out of your contaminated blogs. This marriage is not your business. What happens in our home will not improve your lives or put food on your table.”

Frederick stressed that his wife is free to live her life as she pleases, explaining that marriage is not a form of control. “She can post photos without me, take off her ring, or go on vacation alone—it’s not anyone’s business. I bought the ring, and I’m not complaining,” he said. He added that Peggy could wear whatever she likes and enjoy her life, and he would do the same.

The actor also addressed criticism of his professional roles, particularly kissing scenes in movies. “I’m not going to stop kissing in movies because I’m married. No professional actor anywhere does that,” he asserted. He urged people to stop dragging innocent actresses into the conversation, emphasizing their professionalism.

Frederick criticized social media for fostering unnecessary toxicity, saying, “This app was created to connect and share love, but frustrated people have made it toxic. My wife and I never consulted anyone before getting married, so we don’t owe anyone explanations.”

He concluded his message with a clear warning: “This will be the last time we address this. If anyone continues their foolishness, we’ll just laugh and let it entertain us. Peggy and I are different. Leave us alone! I love my wife, and my wife loves me.”
