Nigerian Teen Wife, Ex-Lover Conspire To Poison Husband

Police in Jigawa State have arrested a 15-year-old girl, Zahra’u Dauda, for allegedly conspiring with her former lover, 22-year-old Lawan Musa, to poison her husband, Kamisu Haruna.

The shocking incident took place in Bagata Gabas village, Kiyawa Local Government Area, and has left the community in disbelief.

According to the police spokesperson, DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam, authorities received a report revealing the alleged plot. Investigations showed that Zahra’u, in collaboration with Musa, poisoned her husband’s meal, which was also shared with two of his friends.

“All three individuals developed severe stomach pains,” DSP Adam stated. “While undergoing treatment, one of the friends unfortunately passed away.” Zahra’u’s husband and the other friend survived the poisoning and are now in stable condition.

The case remains under investigation as the police work to uncover the full details of the conspiracy and ensure those responsible are brought to justice. DSP Adam assured the public that the authorities are committed to resolving the matter and holding the culprits accountable.
