Drama As Partially Clad Lady Turns ‘Mad’ In Lagos (Video)
By Benjamin Abioye
A disturbing video of a young lady acting erratically in public has sparked widespread online debate, with some attributing it to drugs, others to rituals.
A heartbreaking and emotional incident has gone viral on the internet, showing a young lady displaying highly unusual behavior in a public space. The young lady, whose actions appeared uncontrollable, was seen outside, struggling to maintain herself.
Observers in the area, believed to be from her neighborhood, immediately noticed her distress and rushed to help. Her friends, along with some other women who seemed to know her, gathered to assist, attempting to move her away from the scene. However, she seemed unresponsive and dragged herself, behaving as though she were intoxicated.
As the group tried to help her cross to the other side of the road, some of the people around started speculating about the cause of her condition. A comment was made in Yoruba, saying, “She has been used,” while others pointed to a bottle of beer found near her. This quickly sparked heated debate, with many in the crowd suspecting that she might have been the victim of ritualists, commonly referred to as “yahoo boys.” This belief was fueled by the assumption that the unusual behavior was part of their practices.
Unable to control herself, especially her neck, which seemed incapable of standing straight, the situation became even more chaotic. Onlookers continued to gather around her, with other girls shouting in Yoruba, “She has been used, she’s done for.” As people began taking photos and videos of the scene, her friends stepped in, trying to shield her from the cameras, urging that she be taken away from the crowd to protect her privacy.
The disturbing incident has generated numerous reactions on social media, where people have shared their thoughts and speculations about the young lady’s condition. Below are some of the public’s responses:
