By Benjamin Abioye

Veteran Nollywood actress Ego Boyo has firmly taken position with Ngozi Ezeonu on the sage of the two actresses who came for a movie audition without wearing bras. In her affirmation, Ego Boyo who made name in the popular NTA movie series, Checkmate emphasized the importance of dressing professionally for movie auditions, comparing them to job interviews.
Ego Boyo’s statement came in response to a viral video where Ezeonu scolded two aspiring actresses for not wearing bras during an audition.
Boyo highlighted that auditions should be approached with the same seriousness as any job interview.
In a post shared on Thursday, Ego Boyo expressed her frustration with what she called a “stupid hot take” on the issue of the ladies without bras. She explained that how one presents themselves at an audition directly reflects how they expect to be treated. “An audition is a job interview! Dress appropriately,” she urged, stressing the need for aspiring actors to take their profession seriously.
Ego Boyo’s comments came amidst the ongoing debate sparked by Ezeonu’s video that reprimanded the actresses without bras, which has sparked mixed reactions online. While some viewers agreed with Ezeonu’s stance on dressing appropriately, others disagreed, claiming that one actress should not dictate how others should dress for auditions.
Boyo, however, stood firm in her support for professionalism in the entertainment industry. She emphasized that the industry should be held to the same standards as any other profession, where dressing appropriately is expected. Her remarks serve as a reminder of the importance of maintaining professionalism, especially for those entering the field.
