Mercy Chinwo In New War Against Army Of Darkness
By Gideon Ayeni

Popular gospel singer Mercy Chinwo has dismissed a circulating rumor suggesting that her fans could lose access to their social media accounts for posting her pictures or using her songs in reels.
The false claim originated from a social media influencer, Odoh Ogechukwu Stephy, who warned users about the the perceived threats of associating with Mercy Chinwo in a now-deleted post:
“Omo, please do not post Mercy Chinwo’s pictures or use any of her music on your reels to avoid losing your account.”
Reacting swiftly to the misinformation, Mercy Chinwo took to her social media to debunk the claims, sharing a screenshot of the post and calling it a fabrication.
“All fake and false. Armies of darkness employed for evil cannot know peace. Kindly disregard the fake news and its carriers. We move!!!” she declared.

Following the singer’s rebuttal, the influencer removed her original warning and issued a public apology, clarifying that her statement was based on incorrect information.
“Please disregard the post I made earlier about Mercy Chinwo’s music. It is actually false information that I got. There is absolutely nothing wrong with her music on your reels,” she wrote.

Fans have since expressed relief, praising Mercy Chinwo for addressing the issue promptly and putting the social media controversy to an end.
