Nigerian media personality and life coach, Solomon Buchi, has come under heavy criticism after sharing a maternity photoshoot featuring his pregnant wife, Arike.

The photo, which Buchi posted on Instagram, shows him comfortably seated in an open field while his wife, who is heavily pregnant, stands behind him. This visual did not sit well with many netizens, who accused him of lacking empathy for his wife.

Social media users flooded the comment section, slamming Buchi for allowing his expectant wife to stand while he remained seated in the photoshoot. Many questioned his actions, suggesting that he should have prioritized her comfort.

One user, @noty4yi, expressed disappointment, writing:

“Your heavily pregnant wife is standing under the hot sun, and you’re sitting down? No atom of sympathy for someone carrying your child. Women, please marry someone that truly loves you. Using a pregnant woman as shade from the sun—what kind of man are you? I’m shaking, bro .”
