Mötley Crüe jet crash

A private jet linked to Mötley Crüe singer Vince Neil crashed at Scottsdale Airport, killing one person and injuring others as authorities investigate the tragic incident.

A private jet owned by Mötley Crüe lead singer Vince Neil was involved in a runway collision at Scottsdale Airport, Arizona, on Monday afternoon. The accident resulted in one fatality.

According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the crash occurred just before 3 p.m. when Neil’s Learjet 35A “veered off the runway after landing.” The aircraft, which had arrived from Austin, Texas, then crashed into a parked Gulfstream 200 on a nearby ramp.

Authorities reported that four people were on board the Learjet, while the Gulfstream had only one occupant at the time of impact.

Vince Neil’s lawyers clarified that he was not on the plane during the crash. However, his girlfriend, Rain Andreani, and her friend were among the passengers.

Both women survived but were taken to the hospital. Andreani suffered five broken ribs. Fortunately, the dogs traveling with them were rescued without injuries.

The Learjet also had two pilots on board. Sadly, one of the pilots did not survive the crash, while the other was injured.

Following the tragic accident, Poison frontman Bret Michaels shared his condolences.

“My deepest sympathy and condolences to the pilot that just passed away in Scottsdale Airpark and the other pilot who was injured, as well as my thoughts and prayers to our family friend Rain, her friends, and all those that were injured in the tragic landing,” he wrote on Facebook.

“I was relieved to hear that my friend Vince Neil was not on board at the time of the incident.”

Jet Pros, the company that owns the Gulfstream 200, confirmed that no one on their aircraft was injured. One person at the scene declined medical attention, according to Scottsdale city officials.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash.

The Scottsdale crash is the latest in a series of aviation incidents that have unsettled travelers.

On January 29, a mid-air collision between a US Army helicopter and an American Airlines jet at Reagan National Airport, Washington, DC, resulted in 67 fatalities.

Just two days later, a jet carrying six people crashed onto a busy Philadelphia street, exploding on impact. All six passengers and one person on the ground lost their lives.
