This year’s list features some of the country’s biggest stars, including Tems, Burna Boy, and Ayra Starr, alongside rising talents competing across various categories such as Rookie of the Year, Best Recording, and Best Rap Single.

As excitement builds, the Rookie of the Year category introduces fresh faces ready to take Afrobeats by storm, with Zerrydl, Taves, Kaestyle, and Llona earning nominations. Meanwhile, the Best Recording of the Year category promises tough competition, featuring standout tracks like Tems’ Burning, Burna Boy’s Higher, and Ayra Starr & Giveon’s Last Heartbreak Song.

The Producer of the Year category highlights some of the industry’s most talented beatmakers, with Sarz (Happiness), London (OZEBA), and Magicsticks (Basquiat) in the running.
