Mohbad: How Nollywood Star Was Attacked After Being Mistaken For Naira Marley’s Father (Video)

Veteran Nollywood actor Jude Chukwuka has revealed how he was attacked by a group of unknown men on a movie set in Ikorodu, Lagos State, over claims that he was responsible for the death of late singer Mohbad.

Speaking in an interview with Seun Oloketuyi on YouTube, the Nollywood actor disclosed that the assailants mistook him for the father of controversial singer Naira Marley, whom some had accused of being involved in Mohbad’s untimely passing.

According to the actor, the group was convinced that Naira Marley—whom they wrongly believed to be his son—had a hand in the singer’s tragic death.

“I understood from the beginning that blaming Naira Marley for Mohbad’s death was an attack on his personality,” Chukwuka recounted.

“Some people just wanted to take advantage of the situation to gain attention. A group of men attacked me on a film set, accusing my supposed son of being responsible for Mohbad’s death. I had to clarify to them that I am not Naira Marley’s father. I am from Delta State, and Naira Marley is from Abeokuta.”
