Iyabo Ojo has promised a cash reward to anyone who helps recover Mercy Aigbe’s missing phones, which vanished at her movie premiere.

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has announced a financial reward for anyone who helps to find the two missing phones of her colleague, Mercy Aigbe.

The phones reportedly went missing during the grand premiere of Iyabo Ojo’s latest movie, Labake Olododo, which took place at Imax Cinemas in Lekki, Lagos, on Sunday, March 23rd. The event was filled with celebrities, making it a glamorous occasion. However, the excitement turned sour when Mercy Aigbe realized her phones had disappeared.

Reports indicate that Aigbe had entrusted the phones to her assistant before they went missing. In a video circulating online, the visibly distressed actress was seen confronting her assistant about the incident.

During the event, Iyabo Ojo made a public plea, urging anyone who might have found the phones to return them. She also promised a cash reward as an incentive for their recovery.

“Please, we are looking for phones. Did you help us see them? If anyone sees a phone that isn’t theirs, I beg you to return it. I will personally give you money. Two phones, locate me, and I will give you money,” she announced.

The incident has sparked mixed reactions online. Some social media users expressed sympathy for Mercy Aigbe, while others criticized her assistant for carelessness.

Actress Sarah Martins commented, “Losing two phones? The assistant should have faced some consequences for being extremely careless.”

Another actress, Joke Jigan, added, “Two phones in this economy? That’s unacceptable.”

Beyond the financial value, many people highlighted concerns over the personal data stored on the lost devices. One user stated, “It’s not even about the money but the private information on those phones.”

As of now, the missing phones have yet to be recovered, and Iyabo Ojo’s reward offer remains open.
