Shock As Ondo Socialite Found Dead In His Hotel Room

The Chief Executive Officer of Klass Five Hotel in Akure, Ondo State, Adesoji Johnson Adeleye, has been killed by unknown attackers.

The incident happened at his Klass Five Hotel located in the Arakale area of the state capital. Adeleye, who was well-known in the area, was found dead inside one of the hotel rooms.

Sources said the killers broke into the room while he was still awake. A close friend of the deceased, who did not want his name mentioned, said, “They overpowered him, stabbed him several times, and waited for him to die before leaving the room.”

The friend, who expressed shock over the tragic death, also said, “We went out together last night and agreed to meet again in the morning. It’s shocking to lose him in such a brutal way.”

A family source confirmed that the case has been reported to the police station in Akure. According to the source, police officers visited the scene, moved the body of the deceased to the mortuary, and have started questioning some people.

The spokesperson of the Ondo State Police Command, Olayinka Ayanlade, confirmed the incident. He said, “A middle-aged man was killed in his hotel premises. We have sent a team of detectives to the location, and we are currently on the trail of the perpetrators. Once we apprehend them, they will be brought to justice.”

Ayanlade added that the case has been transferred to the state police headquarters for proper investigation. He assured, “The police are working diligently to arrest those responsible for the heinous crime.”

This incident in Klass Five Hotel happened not long after the murder of another popular woman, Mrs. Olakunbi Adene, a well-known caterer and socialite in Akure. In that case, three of her domestic workers were arrested after the police traced her phones to the suspects in Akure and Idanre.
