Popular Nigerian billionaire and nightlife entrepreneur, Obinna Iyiegbu, widely known as Obi Cubana, has been applauded online for correcting his son’s conduct while greeting 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
The incident occurred during Obi Cubana’s grand 50th birthday celebration in Abuja — an opulent affair that drew A-list celebrities, top politicians, and other high-profile guests.
In the now-viral footage, Peter Obi was seen walking over to greet Obi Cubana, who stood beside his young son. While the billionaire respectfully acknowledged the politician, his son remained seated as Obi extended a greeting to him.
Sensing the moment, Obi Cubana calmly corrected his son, instructing him to stand up and show proper respect. The boy quickly obeyed, rising to his feet to greet Peter Obi appropriately.
