Thousands Stranded As Mobile Bank App Crashes
By Benjamin Abioye

Thousands of users across multiple states were left stranded as Arvest Bank’s mobile app crashed, stopping access to accounts, bill payments, and transfers.
Thousands of Arvest Bank customers have been left stranded following a sudden outage that affected the bank’s online and mobile banking services.
The bank, which provides financial services to more than 800,000 people across Arkansas, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri, confirmed the issue through a post on X (formerly Twitter).
“Customers are currently experiencing issues logging in to online and mobile banking,” Arvest stated. “Our teams are aware and are actively working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.”
The bank also mentioned that “in addition to the login issues, our nightly processing is currently delayed,” adding to customers’ worries.
Many users took to social media to express their anger and disappointment. Several complained about being unable to pay bills or make transactions due to the technical failure.
“I can’t make my car payment, and if it’s late, it’s y’all’s fault, and y’all are paying. I’m tired of this,” one user wrote on X.
Another upset customer pointed out that this is the fourth time such a disruption has happened this year and even warned of switching to a different bank.
The situation is still unfolding, and further updates are expected soon on the Arvest Bank app crash.
