Kano: Why Aggrieved APC Members Teamed Up With Kwankwaso To Teach Ganduje Political Lesson – Jibrin

Confusion was brewing at the weekend after Abdulmumin Jibrin, a senior ally of the national leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu resign from the APC.

Jibrin was also the Director-General of the Tinubu Support Group, Abdulmumin Jibrin, a major campaign platform for the actualization of the presidential aspiration of Tinubu.

Jibrin is also an executive director of the Federal Housing Authority, FHA.

A former member of the House of Representatives, Abdulmumin Jibrin did not give any reason for his decision to resign from the APC.

He announced this via his Twitter handle on Saturday.

The former federal lawmaker said he would announce his new party soon.

“I have done my best for APC. Its time to move on. I will announce my new political party within the next 24 hours Insha Allah. I will make a formal statement in due course,” he tweeted.

Jibrin is a Nigerian politician, businessman, academic, and former member of the Nigerian House of Representatives.

He was an APC member who represented Kiru/Bebeji Federal Constituency of Kano State.

The decision of Abdulmumin Jibrin to resign from the APC is also fueling speculations on the imminent fate of his principal in the unfolding political chess game that the 2023 presidential election is turning into.

Meanwhile, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has explained why he opted out of the 2023 presidential race despite permutations on him being an agreeable political project between the South-South and Southeast.

Okowa spoke in Asaba on Thursday as he also denied insinuations of having endorsed a governorship aspirant as his successor.

Speaking during a media interaction in Asaba, Okowa he said though, politicians were using his name to campaign but the fact remains that he had not endorsed anyone.
