New Questions As Nnamani Escalates Tinubu Campaign

Fresh questions on the propriety of Senator Chimaroke Nnamani’s support for the APC presidential candidate Senator Bola Tinubu were emerging on Tuesday after the PDP senator escalated his campaign on social media with a composite poster of himself and Tinubu.

The PDP senator on Monday made the composite campaign pictures of himself and Tinubu as his new profile picture on his Twitter handle.

GWG.ng reports that Senator Nnamani was on January 20 suspended from the PDP on account of his alleged anti-party activities flowing from his support for the APC presidential candidate.

Senator Chimaroke Nnamani subsequently came out to say that his support for Tinubu was upon the violation of the PDP’s constitution that allowed Atiku Abubakar to emerge as the party’s presidential candidate.

A week after his suspension, Chimaroke Nnamani in a note of defiance escalated his support for Tinubu on social media posting a composite poster of himself and the APC presidential candidate.

The poster immediately attracted strong comments with Senator Shehu Sani hailing Nnamani thus:

My Distinguished Halfcast.

However, some questioned Senator Chimaroke Nnamani’s stance saying that his objection to a northern candidate could have been more conveyed by supporting Peter Obi who is also from the South.

However, there were still others who hailed Senator Chimaroke Nnamani’s boldness in making his choice of a presidential candidate irrespective of whose ox is gored.
