Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma and a former governor of the state, Senator Rochas Okorocha were seen entering the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Thursday evening, accompanied by the National Chairman of the APC, Abdullahi Ganduje.
The trio, joined by the Governor of Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, departed the Villa shortly after their arrival.
The President, Bola Tinubu, had reportedly left the office by the time they got there.

Although the reason for their visit remains undisclosed, it might be related to past tensions between Uzodinma and Okorocha, who served as Imo Governor from 2011 to 2019.
A presidency source who spoke with Vanguard said that the APC Party Chairman, Alhaji Ganduje may take Uzodimma, who is the Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum, his estranged party man Okorocha and Governor Sanwo-Olu to the President’s residence.
A recent report from a committee by the Imo State Government accused Okorocha and his allies of misusing public property.
This is coming days after Okorocha was indicted by the committee set up by the Imo State Government for the recovery of land belonging to the Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education, Owerri.
The committee said Okorocha used brute force to dispose the college of its land.
In the report signed by the chairman, Prof Vitalis Orikeze Ajumbe, and the secretary, B F Anyanwu, and submitted to Governor Hope Uzodimma, the committee recommended the recovery of the Shell Camp land from Okorocha and his associates within six months and hand the same over to the institution.
