Oshiomhole Has Written Direct Primary Result – Shaibu

The deputy governor of Edo State, Comrade Philip Shaibu Friday alleged that Comrade Adams Oshiomhole had already written the results of the Edo APC primary.

Speaking in an interview, Shaibu who was until not long ago regarded as Oshiomhole’s political godson, said Oshiomhole started planning an Ambode Treatment on Governor Godwin Obaseki since 2017 after he realized he could not manipulate the governor.

“I have a relationship with Adams Oshiomhole of over 40 years and I know what he is going to do. Adams Oshiomhole has already written the results and what he wants to do is what he did in Imo,” the deputy governor said on AIT.

Affirming the opposition of his camp to the direct primaries as proposed by the national leadership, Shaibu said that it was against the social distancing protocol.

“The easiest way to write results is direct primaries. For us whether it is direct or indirect. He already has his results for direct primaries.

“Whether we participate or not he will write the results and the easiest way to write it by direct primaries.

“He already has his results of direct primaries but for us the health of our people is more than our ambition.

Giving the only condition under which the Obaseki tendency will participate in a direct primary, he said:

“If we have to adopt direct primaries, Oshiomhole has to step aside, let President Buhari and the governors send a team without Oshiomhole that is a contestant presiding. Oshiomhole is a contestant. He cannot be an umpire when he is a contestant. send the panel. Oshiomhole is a participant in the election.

According to the deputy governor, Oshiomhole started planning to give Obaseki what he described as the Ambode treatment just after the first year when the former governor realized that he could not manipulate his successor.

 “Oshiomhole wanted to have a third term through Obaseki, he didn’t get it and from the second year started EPM and said they were going to give Obaseki Ambode third term.”
