APC Chiefs Using Looted NDDC Funds To Hound Oshiomhole – Delta APC

The All Progressives Congress in Delta State led by its State Chairman, Prophet Jones Ode Erue, has reaffirmed it’s unflinching support for the duo of the National Chairman Adams Aliu Oshiomhole and Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege.

The party in a statement alleged that recent attacks against the duo were being masterminded by agents of distabilisation funded by funds allegedly looted from the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC. 

The party’s assertion was in the face of what it claimed as claims as misrepresentations by the duo of 2019 Presidential Aspirant, Alh. Mumakai Unagha and a party chieftain, Prince Ikpama.

The party in a statement signed by Nick Ovuakporie, Director of Communications, APC Delta State, and made available to newsmen, condemned the conducts of Alh. Mumakai Unagha, Prince Ikpama whose media outburst the party claimed, could be best described as that of men whose conducts are similar to individuals suffering from “bipolar disorder syndrome” owing to their antecedents in the past.

The party said it was of the view that, those disabilising the party were sponsored by those who have successfully pilfered NDDC funds to try to disorganize the electoral fortunes of President Muhammadu Buhari and particularly, distinguished Senator Ovie Omo-Agege who by the grace of God, is now Nigeria’s deputy Senate President against all their shenanigans.

Noting that the agents of distablilisation have been in sync with the former National Chairman Odigie Oyegun and deputy Chairman , Lawali Shuaibu, the statement deposed that the agents had “been receiving funding from their sponsors in the NDDC to set the party on a path of anarchy by deploying funds meant for the development of the Niger Delta region, which have been consistently channelled into sponsoring fathom media distractions and institute plethora of court cases against the State leadership, the deputy Senate President and the National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole.”

The party emphasized that the confession made by Alh. Mumakai Unagha, that he and his group made frantic efforts to truncate the emergence of the National Chairman Adams Aliu Oshiomhole did not come to it as a surprise because, their activities were well known including the paid advert rejecting the choice of Adams Oshiomhole as National Chairman by his coalition partners in Delta State, after the APC South – South State Chairmen and particularly the Delta State chapter under the leadership of Prophet Jones Ode Erue, endorsed him for the position of National Chairman.
