Bound By The Same Family Name

Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth IS NAMED. Ephesians 3:15.

In talking about the family of God, the apostle refers to all that are born of God as family, we are one family; those on earth and those who have gone to be with the Lord.

Now, we have a family name which binds all of us in the family of God.

Indeed, the apostle says we are NAMED after the father of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

The family name, sometimes referred to as surname, is what identifies one family from the other and also binds members together.

A recent story of a lady who wanted to pay her Uber driver by transfer was touched to know that they were related when the driver’s surname popped out on her phone. She gave the driver a good tip because of that!

So we are NAMED after Him that is ABBA, Elohim, Adonai, Jehovah, Jehovahjireh…..

Jesus also identified some others who are outside this loop of God as being named after the devi because of their secret and open deeds. John 8:44.

Beloved, irrespective of where you are and your status in this world if you truly identify with God and you can call Him Father,  then you share a surname with the saints everywhere.

Dear, if you do, then on this first day of the week, you are expected to join a family meeting of those who are NAMED of God holding somewhere near you.

Dear, Go and answer your family name!
