Kaduna State’s Chikun Local Government Council has announced plans to bury 49 unidentified and unclaimed bodies that were brought to the Sabon Tasha General Hospital mortuary last week. The council granted families five days to claim their loved ones’ bodies before burying them all together. The declaration was made by Hon. Salasi Nuhu Musa, Chairman of the Local Government, who stated that the corpses were placed at various times by officials and personnel of the Nigeria Police from Toll Gate Division and Kasuwan Magani Police Station.
