Never Met A Pastor Or Imam As Humble As Jonathan – Omokri

Reno Omokri, who served as an aide to President Goodluck Jonathan, has praised the humility and sincerity of the former president saying he has never met a man as humble as him.

Omokri who has acquired a reputation as one of the most incisive critics of President Muhammadu Buhari said the former president called him to tone down his criticisms of the incumbent president.

Omokri, now based in California where he pastors a church said that the respect that Dr Jonathan conferred on Buhari is one that the incumbent president would not give to any other person including his predecessors or possible successors.

Dr. Jonathan won a global respect in 2015 when he called Buhari, his main contender to concede the election.

In a tweet, Omokri said:

“I just don’t know how God created @GEJonathan. I have never met a man, whether Pastor, Imam or Pope, with as much humility as former President Jonathan.

“He called me and appealed to me to show more respect and kindness to @MBuhari. Would Buhari do that to him or Obj or IBB?”
