Senator Okorocha Vows To Remain Godly In The Senate

Following his inauguration on Thursday Senator Rochas Okorocha has vowed to lead a crusade against the politics of vindictiveness, clannishness and hatred as a senator.

Okorocha’s assertion was against the background of insinuations that his declaration as senator-elect was coerced under duress.

Speaking after his swearing in on Thursday, Senator Okorocha in a press statement by his media adviser said that he would “continue to take serious exception to politics of vindictiveness, clannishness, bitterness, hatred and do or die.

“In his politics, he has never been associated with any of these vices and that was why the accusation of “duress” was strange to him and to all those who had closely followed his politics.

He would remain broadminded and Godly in his politics. And would also be in the fore-front of any action or move that would strengthen the oneness of the nation since it pays to be united than to be divided.”
