Ize-Iyamu Makes Three Appointments

Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu has made three strategic appointments into his election campaign council, his spokesman, John Mayaki has said.

The three appointees include Honorable Ehiogie West-Idahosa, a three-term member of the House of Representatives and former Chairman of House Committee on Petroleum Matters; Rt. Hon. Samson Osagie, former Minority Whip of the House of Representatives; and Honorable Patrick Ikhariale, a former member of the House of Representatives and Chairman of the House Committee on Power.

The appointments of the veteran politicians it was said, underlines the momentum going for Pastor Ize-Iyamu.

Mayaki while making the announcements said:

“today, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu directed the appointment of three eminent Edo leaders, Hon. Ehiogie West-Idahosa, Rt. Hon Samson Osagie, and Hon. Patrick Ikhariale into the Campaign Organization.”

“Honorable Ehiogie West-Idahosa, who previously served as a three-term member of the House of Representatives, Chairman of the House Committee on Petroleum Matter, and is a name partner at West Idahosa and Co Solicitors, a prestigious law firm, has been appointed as the head of the Campaign Organization’s legal department. He will be coordinating and overseeing the Organization’s legal activities.”

“Rt. Hon. Samson Osagie, who previously served as the Minority Whip of the 7th House of Representatives, has been appointed as Political Coordinator, Edo South Senatorial District. He will be overseeing the political activities of the Campaign Organization in Edo South Senatorial District.”

“While Hon. Patrick Ikhariale, who also previously served in the Federal House of Representatives and was the Chairman of the House Committee on power, has been appointed as the Political Coordinator of Edo Central Senatorial District. He will be overseeing the political activities of the Campaign Organization in Edo Central Senatorial District.”

“The appointments which takes immediate effect, is to strengthen the operations of the Campaign Organization as we anticipate the primary election of our great party, the All Progressives Congress, on the 22nd of June.”

“All three leaders who are well-respected and enjoy great influence within the state and beyond will bring to bear their already demonstrated extraordinary leadership and strong character.”
