Chief Dan Orbih has welcomed the exit of three commissioners from the Edo State Oil Gas Producing Area Development Commission (EDOSOGPADEC) saying it only showed the overwhelming role that Comrade Adams Oshiomhole took in forming a government for Godwin Obaseki.

The three commissioners Prince Emmanuel Odigie, Alhaji Aiwanu Oshiomhole, and Osamwonyi Atu representing Edo Central, Edo North Senatorial districts respectively and Orhionmwon in the Commission had resigned from the commission upon their political loyalty to Comrade Oshiomhole.

But responding to the development, Orbih, the national vice-chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, South-South, however, saw it as a dividend of the freedom for the state from the hand of the former governor, Oshiomhole.

He said:

“The resignation of Adams Oshiomole nominated EDSOGPADEC commissioners has exposed how Oshiomole alone was in charge of all appointments in the state. “He nominated his junior brother Raiwanu Oshiomole and his late wife’s junior brother, Hon. Emmanuel Odigie into one commission.

“This state is not his private property. We are glad that things are beginning to take shape in Edo state. Adams after eating the forbidden fruit has fallen out of favour with God and Man.

“He has fallen out of favour with his Party APC, his Executive, and Edo state people. Come  September 19th, his appointed candidate will be rejected and Governor Godwin Obaseki will win again.”
