NCDC Reports 423 New Cases

Nigeria recorded 423 new cases of the COVID-19 disease on Tuesday, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC reported late on Tuesday.

The NCDC reported the disease was spread in 21 states and the FCT.

The highest number of new cases was recorded in Lagos with 117 cases followed by FCT and Ondo with 40 and 35 respectively.

The new cases brought the total number of incidents in the country to 47,290 new cases with 33,609 of the cases having been discharged.

Meanwhile, 956 persons have died from the disease in the country.
