Reactions As Reno Dares Buratai To Hand-To-Hand Combat!

The challenge from Reno Omokri, a former aide to President Jonathan to the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai, to a man to man fight without a referee or weapons is setting social media abuzz. 

Omokri, an unrepentant critic of the Muhammadu Buhari administration took to his social media account on Sunday to challenge Buratai to a fighting duel.

The former president’s aide was very angry about soldiers shooting #EndSARS protesters stated that his wish in this month of December is to be locked in a room alone with Burtai for a fight to the death.

Omokri wrote: “My greatest desire in November is to be in a room with General Buratai. No weapons. No referee. Man to man combat. Only one man coming out alive. Let God use me to avenge the cowardly slaughter of peaceful, unarmed, #EndSARS.”

Many saw it as a suicide bid on the part of Omokri as they argued that Omokri was on a suicide mission by challenging a 59-year-old army general, asking if he had written his will before the challenge. 

Some used the opportunity to engage in hilarious conversation on how the fight will end, if it happens.

This statement has attracted attention as many took to the micro-blogging platform to predict who the winner of the duel will be. GWG brings some of their views below:
