Sexy Pics: Police Probe Leading Muslim Actress

The police have commenced an investigation of Nigeria’s leading Muslim actress, Rahama Sadau after a picture she shared on social media raised allegations of blasphemy against Islam.

Ms. Sadau, unarguably Northern Nigeria’s most popular actress had to abort a scheduled trip to Dubai to honour the police investigation of her in Kaduna.

Sadau pulled down the pictures which showed her bare back after criticisms of the pictures overflowed on her social media handles.

She subsequently appealed for pity following censures from the larger society.

Fim Magazine, an authoritative Hausa movie industry magazine reported the development on Saturday.

The magazine claimed that a plot to arrest her in Abuja was stopped after a senior police officer prevailed for her to submit herself for questioning in Kaduna.

The magazine quoting a letter signed by the Principal Staff Officer to the Inspector General of Police, IGP to the Kaduna State Police Commissioner, quoted the police boss as directing the latter to ensure that issues emanating from Ms. Sadau’s picture do not lead to breakdown of law and order in the North.

“I am to convey the directive of the Inspector General of Police that you treat proactively with a view to ensuring that the development does not result to any act that could threaten public peace and security.

“The Inspector General of Police further directs that you furnish him with updates, accordingly,” the letter, signed by DCP Idowu Owohunwa, read in part.
