Fayose mocked Buhari

Nigerians are more interested in seeing President Muhammadu Buhari welcoming and solving the problems of the country than receiving recycled politicians, Ayodele Fayose has mocked.

Fayose spoke in reaction to Buhari’s reception of Gbenga Daniel and Dimeji Bankole into the All Progressives Congress, APC on Monday.

In a series of posts on his Twitter handle, Fayose said that the defection of those he classified as dead politicians meant little to a people facing security and economic challenges.

“Nigerians are not interested in the President receiving political wanderers in the Villa. They are more interested in their well-being, especially security,” Fayose wrote.

“They want to see a president who’s proactive in handling affairs of the country, rather than receiving recycled politicians.

“Most importantly, Nigerians are not interested in how many politicians that decamp to APC, which is already a dead party.

“The President should rather make himself available to Nigerians who can help solve our unending financial and security challenges amongst others.

“Above all, I wish the President knows how disappointed Nigerians are about him and his failed promises,” Fayose mocked at Buhari.

President Buhari alongside his Chief of Staff, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari had on Monday received both politicians into the APC at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The two men were brought to the president by the Chairman, Caretaker Committee of the APC, and Governor of Yobe, Mai Mala Buni, Governors of Jigawa State, Mohammed Badaru and Kebbi, Atiku Bagudu.

GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that Mr. Daniel was governor of Ogun State between 2003 and 2011 on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and subsequently served as the campaign manager of the PDP’s 2019 presidential ticket, Atiku Abubakar.

Bankole was also Speaker of the House of Representatives between 2007 and 2011 also on the platform of the PDP.
