The soldiers who should be defenders of the common security and good compromised mainly because of money and hence the lie has spread through the ages among the Jews that Jesus did not resurrect despite the evidence.

There are things that the world will offer us apart from money to compromise the truth.

We must be careful lest we spurn a narrative that will outlive us over the generations.

Now, this lie shockingly was masterminded by the religious leaders to suit their personal narrative of Jesus against the grain of scripture.

Now, we must be careful to subject all we hear from our  preachers, pastors and the pulpit to the scriptures.

The resurrection was about the most important occasion in human history, yet the devil used religious leaders to dilute it.

Beloved, let us not allow anyone and especially ourselves to dilute the significance of the risen Lord in our lives.
