Nigerian Law School Releases 2021 Results, 22.98% Failed
The Council of Legal Education, Nigerian Law School, has released the results of prospective lawyers for 2021.
According to the breakdown of the results, 5,570 candidates sat for the exams, while only twenty students (0.007%) bagged first class.
1,326 (22.98%) of the candidates failed as 432 (7.49%) bagged second class (upper division). 2,172 (37.64%) students bagged second class (lower division) and 1,725 (29.90%) got a pass.
In the breakdown of the result, 35 (0.61%) students had a conditional pass, while 60 (1.04%) students were absent. The result of the examination is a prerequisite for getting called to the Nigerian Bar.
The successful participants will be called to the Nigerian Bar in a call-to-bar ceremony scheduled to hold on July 27 and 28.
The Director of Administration of the Nigerian Law School, Elizabeth Max-Uba, confirmed the release of the result.
