“Governors, Senators Will Soon Become Victims Of Kidnapping” – Deji Adeyanju

Human Rights activist, Deji Adeyanju is of the opinion that bandits would soon start kidnaping state governors and Senators.

Adeyanju said this in response to the kidnap of the Niger State Commissioner for Information, Mohammed Sani Idris.

Idris was kidnaped at about 1 am from his home at Baban Tunga village in Tafa Local Government Area of the State.

The state government confirmed his abduction.

In a statement, Mary Noel-Berje, Chief Press Secretary to the state Governor, Sani Bello, said security agencies are on the trail of the assailants.

Recall that last week in Zamfara, bandits kidnapped the father of House of Assembly Speaker, Nasiru Muazu Magarya.
