Alleged Killer Maid In Death Of Lucky Igbinedion’s Mother Nabbed

Ms. Dominion Okoro, the alleged killer maid who allegedly strangled Madam Maria Igbinedion, the octogenarian mother of Lucky Igbinedion, former governor of Edo State has reportedly been nabbed.

Police operatives reportedly arrested the suspected killer Dominion Okoro, in Calabar, Cross River State, Niger Delta Today reported on Thursday.

The suspect was allegedly nabbed by police operatives on Tuesday and is now said to be in custody in Benin.

 GreenWhiteGreen GWG had reported how the lady who was hired to look after the wheelchair-bound grandmother was alleged to have snuffed life out of her when she reportedly strangled her to death on Thursday, December 2 in her residence in Ugbor, GRA, Benin-City, the State capital.

The victim was 85 years old.

After the suspected killer maid committed the act, she reportedly ransacked the house where she lived with the late mother of Lucky Igbinedion and fled with an unspecified amount of money and jewelry.

It was gathered that police operatives in collaboration with some concerned individuals, arrested the suspect on Tuesday, December 16, in Calabar, Cross River State.

The deceased has since been buried on Friday, December 10, 2021.

When contacted on phone for confirmation, the Edo Police Command spokesman, SP Kontongs Bello, said he has “not been contacted by the OC”.

 GreenWhiteGreen GWG had reported how Lucky Igbinedion and family members had vowed to reach the end of the earth to nab the lady.
