Angela Okorie Explains Reason For Siding With Shatta Wale

Nigerian actress turned singer, Angela Okorie has reacted to various calls out online by fans of Nigerian musician Burna Boy.

Angela Okotie was called out after she referred to Ghanaian singer Shatta Wale as “King” after a feud with Nigerians and music star Burna Boy.

In an Instagram post, Angela explained why she called Shatta Wale as “King”: “While everyone has been acting like she doesn’t exist since she started producing music, the Ghanaian artist replied when she reached out to him even though they’ve never met.”

The actress also claimed that those who helped her blow their songs are no longer willing to support her. Angela also revealed that she “fed and brought up” some of Nigeria’s top stars, but that she does not want to be associated with “stupid things.”

Angela wrote;

For crying out loud am not having issues with Shatta Wale , Like wTF 

I just dropped a song and you already

Bringing this hate to me abeg o

How many people for the industry wey I help blow their songs help me back

When I started doing music

Every body Dey act like say Eye Dey pain them ,Listen I and Shatta haven’t even met. I reached out to him to Vibe on a song and he responded, listen be good to who is good to you.
