I Divorced My Husband Because I Wanted The Best For Him – Kaffy

Renowned Nigerian choreographer, dancer Kafayat Shafau, professionally known as Kaffy, has disclosed that she left her marriage so that she and her ex-husband, Joseph Ameh, could grow.

The dancer, while speaking  about her divorce publicly for the first time, noted that she had always wanted the best for her ex-husband despite their separation.

According to her, she left the marriage so that they could grow individually in what they were supposed to be, adding that she separated from her husband because their destinies did not align.

Kaffy revealed this in a video on her Instagram page on Monday night, which was a snippet from her new podcast.

The Guinness Record breaker said, “I always wanted to see my ex in the best version of him. And even taking a chance of breaking this marriage was to see that we both grew in what we really supposed to be.”
