Davido Fires Back At Twitter Adviser Over N20m Gift

Popular musician, David Adeleke aka Davido has taken a dig at a popular Twitter user who has been using the platform to offer unsolicited and solicited advice to people and celebrities. He, however, met a different match in Davido after the music star promised to gift N1 million each to 20 business persons to support whatever business they are engaged in.

Recall, Davido on Wednesday had promised N20m to 20 Nigerians to support their business ideas on Friday, March 18.

He proclaimed that the Government has failed it people and it would be nice to help.

However, a Twitter user @DanielRegha had a different opinion as he advised the singer on how to spend his money. He tweeted:

“Davido instead of gifting 20m to 20 people, visit hospitals, schools plus social media platforms (including ur comment sections) & use the money to foot the bills of those who urgently need financial assistance; Cos majority of people here will misuse the money if given to ’em.”

Davido seemed not happy with his comment and fired back a response on twitter. He tweeted:

“Mr Daniel if you have ur own 20’million Naira use it how you want and pls change ur dp that shit mad annoying.”

In the midst of the gruelling living conditions in Nigeria like the dwindling or non-existent power supply, increasing cost of disease and fuel, high cost of living, increase in cost of goods and services, kidnapping, amongst other issues; celebrities have publicly complained about the recent hardship facing Nigerians.
