Oyetola Hails Osun Assembly Commission Chairman, Awolola at 60

Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun State has congratulated the Chairman of the State House of Assembly Service Commission, Hon Abiodun Akinwale Awolola, on the occasion of his 60th birthday anniversary.

Oyetola described the former legislator as an astute politician, a grassroots mobiliser and true democrat whose position as a former member of Osun Assembly impacted greatly in the lives of his constituents and citizens in general.

The governor, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan, extolled the virtues of the sexagenarian for providing quality legislations while representing the good people of Egbedore State Constituency.

According to Oyetola, the former Chairman, House Committee on Public Works and Transport, is known for his integrity, discipline and decorum which had in no small measure contributed significantly to the advancement of the legislative arm in particular, and the growth and development of the State in general.

“On behalf of my family, the government and the good people of Osun, I congratulate Hon. Abiodun Akinwale Awolola on the occasion of his 60th birthday.

“Your modest contributions to the growth and development of our dear State as an experienced politician cum technocrat can never be over-emphasised as demonstrated while representing the good people of Egbedore State Constituency in the Osun State House of Assembly.

“We are indeed proud of you for being a good ambassador of Osun and for using your God-given wisdom to impact greatly in the lives of the people. We pray God to grant you long life, more wisdom, knowledge and good health to do more for our State and humanity in general,” Oyetola added in his greeting to Awolola, chairman of the Osun State Assembly Services Commission.

Awolola had earlier distinguished himself as a member of the Osun State House of Assembly.
