Singer Rema Begs ASUU To Call Off Strike

Popular Nigerian Singer Rema has pleaded with the Academic Staff Union Of Universities ASUU to call off the ongoing strike.

Rema said ASUU is preventing him from resuming his academic session at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) where he recently got admitted.

Rema said this in a Twitter post on Monday while begging the union to call off the strike.

“ASUU, since dem give me admission I neva start school o! e don do nau,” he wrote.

Recall that Rema announced his admission into UNILAG in January 2022.

“What if I told y’all I got an admission into UNILAG? Lol mom said I still need you to get a degree sigh oh well see you guys in class,” he wrote.
