AGBOR –A top contender for the coveted House of Assembly ticket of the Peoples’ Democratic Party in Ika South, Mr Emmanuel Osazuwa on Thursday May 5th, 2022, embarked on a tour of the Agbor and Abavo Palaces in a bid to intimate the monarchs of his ambition and seek their royal blessings.

Osazuwa who was before now, the Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Wealth Creation hails from Oza-Nogogo, a mineral rich community in Agbor and is vying to represent the good people of Ika South constituency at the DTHA come 2023 under the umbrella of the PDP.

His first point of call was the Agbor Palace, where in the company of his elder brother, Pastor Charles Osazuwa, Founder of Rock of Ages International Church, Edo State, Chief Dennis Araro, Hon. Emmanuel Okoh(Olele), Hon Israel Obaye, Hon Ewere Nze Skala among others, pledged loyalty to the revered Agbor Monarch, HRM Dr Benjamin Ikenchuku Keagborekwuzi l, Dein of Agbor Kingdom.

In his usual fashion, the great monarch of Agbor welcomed his visitors warmly and thanked them for deeming it necessary to notify the Palace of the good intentions of Osazuwa.

He enjoined Agbor sons and daughters in politics to make it a habit of visiting the palace from time to time to intimate the crown of their political ambitions and their scorecards while in office.

Emmanuel Osazuwa in his speech pleaded for the blessings of Dein of Agbor and promised to always acknowledge the palace when he gets into office. “When I get there, I will make it a duty to liaise with the palace in respect to any project coming to the Kingdom. Our father knows better the yearnings of his people and would be better placed to state the most urgent projects to be executed in the kingdom. I will submit myself totally to you Baba and work in unison with the palace”.

Abavo Palace was visited next, where the Palace Chiefs welcomed the entourage on the behalf of the Abavo King, Obi Uche Irenuma ll, who was unavoidably absent.

Osazuwa as expected, solicited the support of the Abavo crown and people, stating unequivocally that he remains the best man for the HOA seat. He also pledged to work with the Abavo Palace in allocating the dividends of democracy in Abavo community.

Speaking with journalists at the end of the tour of the Agbor and Abavo palaces, Osazuwa appealed to Ika South PDP delegates to give their votes to him, noting he is better poised and experienced to deliver quality representation to the people having worked closely with the Delta State government in the past seven years, first as Special Assistant attached to the office of the Secretary to the State Government and as Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Wealth Creation. He noted that he remains very confident of grabbing the ticket because he has placed his trust in God and God’s project never fails.
