Reactions As Nollywood Star, Uche Odoputa Laments Father’s Kidnap
Nollywood Veteran actor, Uche Odoputa has stirred the reactions of his colleagues after taking to his social media page to raise alarm over the kidnap of his father, Kenneth Odoputa.
He revealed that his father, Kenneth Odoputa was kidnapped on the 6th of May and has since remained in the custody of his kidnappers.

The Actor via his Instagram page on Monday, May 16, pleaded with Nigerians to pray for the safe return of his father from the hands of those who kidnapped him.
Uche wrote:
“Friends please join me in prayers for my father safe return the hands of kidnappers that took him for over 2weeks now”
In reaction, many of the colleagues of Uche Odoputa took to his comment section to console him, while others joined faith to pray for their colleague’s father others wonder when the issue of insecurity would be put to an end in the country.
Meanwhile, the news of the kidnap of the father of Uche Odoputa, came as it emerged that less than two weeks after declaring to contest the All Progressives Congress’ APC presidential primary election, it has been confirmed that former Governor Adams Oshiomhole has abandoned the project and has now focused his attention on fighting off Senator Francis Alimikhena for the Edo North Senate ticket.
