Kelina Hospital, Lagos Announces Free Prostrate Check
Kelina Hospital, Lagos has announced a free prostrate check in collaboration with Surgical Aid Foundation to hold in its newly opened Lagos facility.
GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that Kelina Hospital which opened shop in Abuja has over the years carried out an annual outreach programme on prostrate check with the Surgical Aid Foundation since 2009.
The programme holding in Lagos is the first since the Lagos facility commenced operation last April at No 7, Ologun Agbaje Street, off Adeola Odeku Street, Victoria Island.
The Lagos centre is focused on “Minimally Invasive Surgery, including Laser Lithotipsy for Kidney Stones and Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate,” a statement issued by the centre made available to GreenWhiteGreen GWG disclosed.
The prostrate check is to hold from Monday, 06 June 2022 to July 1, 2022 and is eligible for males aged 50 and above, Kelina Hospital announced.
The free prostrate check will include Prostate ultrasound scan, Uroflowmetry and PSA test.
“Intending participants should register and get an appointment before they come in. You will be expected to show your registration information at the gate. We cannot take more than 20 patients in one day.
