Nigeria Leading Burundi 3-0 At Half Time

Three goals grabbed in the space of four minutes in the first half is the difference between Nigeria and Burundi as at half-time in the ongoing final game of the Zone C group game between the two nations in the ongoing Women Africa Cup of Nations, (WAFCON) co                                                                

Nigeria had come into the game with three points from two games and understandably need all three points to ensure qualification irrespective of the ongoing game between South Africa and Botswana, the other two countries in Group C

Nigeria has had the largest amount of play but had been frustrated by the Burudians. That was, however, until the 25th minute when Ajibade broke the tie. She was subsequently followed by Effih who scored in the 26th minute while Kanu grabbed the third at the 29th meeting.
