Record premiership league winners, Manchester United have been sunk to the bottom of the league table after conceding four goals at Brentford after 45 minutes.

Four goals from four goals on target from Bentford who have dominated the midfield have made the once invincible Manchester United the object of pity starting the 2022/23 season on a miserable note.

GWG reports that Manchester United lost their first match at home a week ago to Brighton by 1-2 and are now trialing 0-4 at Brentford.

Not surprisingly distraught Manchester United fans are chanting for the club owners the Glazer family to exit.

It is only the second time that Manchester United have been 0-4 down at halftime in a league match. The first time was to Liverpool last season. Even more agonizingly, Manchester United are scheduled to meet Liverpool in their next fixture.

GWG reports that should Manchester United be unable to turn the screws and score at least four goals against Brentford in the next 45 minutes, it would mean six straight losses on the road pulling from the last season. The last time that Manchester United lost more games on the road (seven straight losses) was in 1936.
